"Immoral advice, compromising lifestyles, and scoffing hinder many lives from entering revival and harvest. Defeating these adversaries is not difficult for the person who chooses to joyfully and deliberately thinks and speaks the Word of God. A disciplined life dodges these enemies of revival and their numerous and dangerous land mines. Harvest and results increase for the believer who drinks deeply of the rivers of spiritual intimacy." Quote from Jeanne Mayo.
Surely the mark of the righteous is a life marked by intimacy with Christ. The word intimacy is in the continual tense, not singular. It has to do with a lifestyle, not just an experience. The church could turn the world upside down by living in total dependence on Christ. Such transformed lives, living in total dependence on Christ, would be overwhelmingly attractive and appealing to those living in darkness, they would run to the light. Let's live this life!
