​There are many factors that prevent God’s people from going to the nations — lack of finances, lack of support, even a lack of faith.

WHAT IF THOSE BARRIERS WERE REMOVED AND YOU COULD BE EMPOWERED TO GO?
Bridge to Missions is a residency program that puts you on the path of faith to become a missionary. As a resident, you will work 25-30 hours a week for up to 8 months while receiving discipleship focused on your spiritual growth. The residency culminates in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) where you will be sent out as a missionary.

​HERE'S WHAT RESIDENTS CAN EXPECT:
  • Inexpensive housing in a great location. Our ministry house is only 2 blocks from the beach!
  • Numerous part-time job opportunities. Myrtle Beach has a booming tourist industry that serves millions of visitors each year. Many businesses are looking for long-term, dependable employees.
  • Unique ministry experiences. Residents will participate in YWAM outreach to the city, especially during the summer when thousands of international students come here for work and cultural exchange.
  • Intentional community living that cultivates spiritual growth. Residents will live with and minister alongside YWAM missionaries. We’ll pray together, serve together, learn together, and even fund-raise for DTS together.
BRIDGE TO MISSIONS APPLICATION
COST:
  • Housing fee: 20% of a resident’s monthly income up to $200/month
  • Tithe of monthly income (5% to the church they are attending. 5% to ministry of their choice.)
  • 20% of monthly income dedicated to savings to go toward DTS.
  • Residents provide their own food and transportation and any other expenses.

​DTS Application will count as an application to the residency program and runs Sept. 24, 2021 - March 12
​, 2022. DTS tuition is $6,850 (all inclusive).
