YWAM’s training programs aim to equip Christians to serve others in everything from agriculture to linguistics, from drug rehabilitation to cross-cultural ministry. YWAM’s foundational course, which serves as the prerequisite for all other training programs, is called the Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS.) Most YWAM courses can be combined into degree programs through YWAM’s University of the Nations.
YWAM courses, often called “schools,” combine theory with practical application. They usually last between three and nine months. For many YWAM students, the intensive learning combined with community living makes for a transformational experience. YWAM students come from over 200 nations.
YWAM’s foundational course, which serves as the prerequisite for all other training programs, is the Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS.)
Youth With A Mission's Discipleship Training School (YWAM-DTS), is a 5-6 month live-learn Christian Missionary Training School. Youth with a Mission is one of the world's largest missions organizations with nearly 20,000 full time staff in more than 150 countries in every continent (except Antarctica.)
Each YWAM DTS includes a 3 month lecture phase followed by 2-3 month outreach where what you learn is put into practice what you have learned in the classroom. You'll be stretched and challenged in your relationship with God like never before and you're guaranteed to have many opportunities to see others come to know God as well. MORE ON DTS

YOUTH WITH A MISSION | UNIVERSITY OF THE NATIONS
The University Of The Nations
The University Of The Nations, a Youth With A Mission Global University.
YWAM’s University of the Nations (U of N) operates in 650 locations in 160 countries, providing programs in approximately 100 languages around the world. The U of N is committed to teaching and developing men and women spiritually, culturally, intellectually and professionally.
As a student in the U of N, you are nurtured as a whole person. You learn in a discipling environment where growth in character and walking in the ways of the Lord are fundamental. You study only one subject at a time in a 12-week modular system, each course approached from a Christian perspective. The U of N aims to equip students to serve in all spheres of society and in all nations. The goal of the U of N is to teach students how to apply biblical truth practically and to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). The core program in the U of N is the Discipleship Training School (DTS) which is required for all other U of N courses.
